“I was trained as an illustrator at the Columbus College of Art and Design but spent my career primarily as a graphic designer. Spending years on the computer I missed the old pencil and paintbrush… until I was introduced to plein air painting. There I met a whole community of painters whose commitment to their craft and excellence in painting greatly inspired me. The challenge of discovering and then trying to capture in oils the simple moments from everyday life has been a joy.”
